The Edwards iO-SDC2 expansion module adds intelligent device capacity to the iO1000 fire alarm panel. It provides two independent device loops. Each loop supports up to 250 addressable devices. As a result, the module adds 500 device addresses.
This module works only with Edwards iO1000 series control panels. First, install it inside the iO1000. Then connect the added detection and notification devices. Therefore, large facilities gain coverage without a second panel.
