The Kidde K-277B-1120 is a non-coded, break-glass, single-action fire alarm pull station with key reset.
This station provides a manual fire alarm initiating point on a conventional fire alarm circuit. Specifically, the single-action design lets the user activate the alarm with one pull. In addition, the break-glass element gives clear visual evidence that the station has been used. Therefore, building staff can quickly identify which station was activated.
Kidde K-277B-1120 — Electrical Configuration
The K-277B-1120 uses a single-pole, open-circuit contact configuration with wire leads. As a result, it connects to a conventional initiating device circuit on a fire alarm panel. Furthermore, the key-reset mechanism restores the contact after a legitimate activation.
Where It Fits
Use the Kidde K-277B-1120 where a conventional, non-coded manual pull station is specified. It is not addressable. Therefore, do not specify it for an addressable SLC loop.
