The Kidde MPSR1-D45W-GE is a weatherproof single-action manual pull station for commercial fire alarm systems. Specifically, it provides a dry-contact alarm initiation point rated for outdoor and harsh-environment use.

In addition, the housing is die-cast with pre-painted or plated corrosion-inhibiting finishes. As a result, the station tolerates wet, dusty, and corrosive locations.

Kidde MPSR1-D45W-GE contacts and reset

First, the MPSR1-D45W-GE uses DPDT (double-pole double-throw) contacts. Then, the contacts switch on a single downward pull of the handle. Finally, an authorized technician resets the station with a Cat 45 lock key.

Furthermore, the unit features screw-terminal field-wiring connections. Therefore, installers can land conductors directly without pigtail splices.

Environmental ratings

The enclosure is rated NEMA 4X for outdoor use. Also, it carries hazardous-location listings for Class I Groups B, C, and D, Class II Groups E, F, and G, and Class III environments.
