The KIDDE COMMERCIAL EGCSVWF is a ceiling-mount Genesis LED EGCS Series speaker-strobe. Specifically, it ships with a white housing and the “FIRE” marking.
First, the strobe is field-selectable for 15, 30, 75, or 115 cd output. Then, the speaker portion is independently set for 25 VRMS or 70 VRMS audio. In addition, the wattage tap selects 1/4, 1/2, 1, or 2 W. As a result, one SKU covers a wide range of coverage and amplifier scenarios.
Furthermore, both settings stay visible through small windows after the cover snaps shut. Also, the EGCS family includes a DC blocking capacitor for supervised audio circuits.

Mounting and Trim
First, the EGCS family fits 2-gang and 4-inch square electrical boxes. In addition, the optional EGCT trim plate covers oversized openings. Furthermore, color-matched double-gang surface boxes are available for surface installations. Note: unlike the regular EGC horn/strobe family, EGCS speaker-strobes do NOT fit 1-gang or 4-inch octagon boxes.
