The Mircom MIX-5351AP is an intelligent fixed-temperature heat detector. Specifically, it activates at 135°F (57°C) using a thermistor sensing circuit. As a result, response is fast and consistent across the listed range. In addition, the detector is field programmable through rotary address switches.

First, the detector uses Mircom’s Advanced Protocol (AP) for fast intelligent communication. Then, it also supports CLIP mode for legacy panel compatibility. Therefore, the MIX-5351AP fits both new AP systems and older retrofits. Furthermore, the unit is UL 521 listed for heat detection service. Also, dual LEDs provide 360-degree status visibility from below.

The detector stands 2.0 inches (51 mm) tall installed on a B300-6 or B300A-6 base. In addition, the head measures 6.2 inches (156 mm) in diameter. Furthermore, the shipping weight is 3.4 ounces (95 grams). For environmental rating, the operating range runs from -4°F to 100°F (-20°C to 38°C).
