Potter Electric Signal (MS-RA/P) Remote alarm led and pilot led (dh-100-p only)

The Potter Electric Signal MS-RA/P is an Amseco-series remote LED for duct smoke detectors. First, it features a red alarm LED for status indication. In addition, it includes a green pilot LED to confirm power. As a result, building staff get clear visual confirmation that the host duct detector is online and ready.

Potter Electric Signal MS-RA/P compatibility

The MS-RA/P pairs with Amseco ADSD, DSD, and RW Series duct smoke detectors. Furthermore, it is the designated remote LED accessory for the Hochiki DH-100-P conventional duct smoke detector. Specifically, the MS-RA/P does not include a test or reset switch. Therefore, integrators choose this model when only LED status indication is needed.

The pilot LED stays lit whenever power is applied to the host duct detector. However, when the detector senses smoke, the red alarm LED activates. As a result, technicians can verify normal operation or alarm condition at a glance.

Choosing the right MS series accessory

The MS series offers several configurations. First, MS-RA provides only the red alarm LED. Then, MS-RA/P adds the green pilot LED on top. Furthermore, MS-RA/R adds a push-button test/reset switch alongside the red LED. Also, MS-KA/R uses a key-operated test/reset instead. Therefore, choose the MS variant that matches each install’s indication and access requirements.
