The Notifier RPT-WF is a network repeater board. It extends communication across a NOTI•FIRE•NET fire alarm network. First, it regenerates the network signal over long distances. As a result, large campuses and high-rise buildings stay connected.
The RPT-WF also changes the network media type. Specifically, it bridges between twisted-pair wire and fiber-optic cable. Therefore, a single network can mix both media as the site requires.
Notifier RPT-WF and the repeater family
Notifier offers three repeater versions. The RPT-W uses wire connections only. In addition, the RPT-F uses fiber connections only. However, the RPT-WF allows a change between wire and fiber. As a result, it suits transitions between building segments.
This repeater works with ONYX Series panels on NOTI•FIRE•NET, such as the NFS-320. Furthermore, it helps maintain signal integrity across complex networked systems.
