The Siemens OCM-16 output control module drives remote indicators and relays in FireFinder XLS and Cerberus PRO systems. First, it provides 16 open-collector outputs. As a result, it can drive LEDs, lamps, or external relays from the fire alarm system. Therefore, it extends panel control to remote annunciation and auxiliary functions.
How the Siemens OCM-16 Connects
The module mounts in an enclosure located remotely from the main panel. Then it communicates with the NIC-C over the Control Area Network (CAN) bus. In addition, it includes an output for a local audible signal. Also, it provides two inputs for module silence and audible silence.
