The Edwards P-027193 is the cast surface back box for 270 Series fire alarm pull stations. First, it lets installers mount a 270-Series pull station on a finished wall. Then, it serves as a rugged housing where flush mounting is impractical.
The 270 Series typically mounts on a 4-inch (102 mm) square box with a single-gang plaster cover. However, the P-027193 cast box provides an alternative for surface installations. In addition, a steel back-box option (P-039250) is available for the same purpose.

Furthermore, dimensions beyond the 4-inch square footprint are not published in the 270 Series catalog page.
