The Altronix PD8UL is a UL-Listed sub-assembly power distribution board. Specifically, it splits a single AC or DC input from an upstream power supply into eight individually fuse-protected outputs.
First, the PD8UL accepts 12 or 24VDC up to 10 A, or 24 or 28VAC up to 12 A, from the host power supply. Then, eight on-board fuses split that bus into eight 2.5 A protected outputs. In addition, each output is independently fused — a single shorted device does not take down the others. As a result, integrators get per-output isolation in a UL-listed package suitable for fire, access, or burglar projects.

Therefore, the PD8UL is a true tri-listed sub-assembly when paired with a listed host power supply such as the AL600ULPD8 or AL1024ULPD8.
Sub-Assembly Use Note
However, the PD8UL is a UL Listed sub-assembly, not a stand-alone product. Specifically, it must be installed inside a listed Altronix enclosure (for example BC100, or as the factory module inside an AL600ULPD8 / AL600ULXPD8) and powered by the matching listed PSU. Therefore, the system listing flows through the assembled cabinet, not through the board alone.
