The Edwards RLCM/B-S is the surface-mount LCD wallbox for the EST3 Remote LCD Command Module Annunciator (3-LCDANN). First, the wallbox provides a surface-mounted enclosure where flush installation is impractical. Then, the 3-LCDANN’s CPU and 3-LCD display install inside the wallbox at a remote operator location.
This wallbox is part of the EST3 Life Safety Platform’s remote-annunciator family. Specifically, it pairs with the 3-LCDANN command-module annunciator. In addition, the matching semi-flush variant is the RLCM/B. Furthermore, both wallboxes accept the same 3-RLCM/D inner-and-outer door set.

Selecting Surface vs Semi-Flush
Edwards offers two RLCM wallbox variants. Specifically, the RLCM/B is semi-flush (mounts into the wall cavity) and the RLCM/B-S is surface (mounts on top of the wall). Therefore, choose the surface variant where the wall material cannot accept a flush cutout. In addition, both variants share the same finished face dimensions and accept the same 3-RLCM/D door set.
Compatibility Notes
The RLCM/B-S is an EST3 wallbox. As a result, it is not interchangeable with QS1 R-Series RA-ENC enclosures or with the surface-mount LSRA-SB for R-Series single-unit annunciators. Furthermore, the wallbox itself carries no standalone UL listing — agency compliance flows through the 3-ANNCPU3 and the parent EST3 panel.
