The RSG RMS-2P-KL is a DPST pigtail-lead-connection manual pull station with the Key Lock reset (KL) option. Furthermore, it suits commercial and institutional fire alarm initiating-device circuits.
First, the KL configuration adds a key-locked front cover. Then, authorized staff use the key to reset the station after activation. As a result, casual users cannot clear an alarm condition.
In addition, key-locked reset is common in schools and institutional buildings. However, the activation lever remains accessible during normal operation. Therefore, KL controls reset, not initial activation.
RSG RMS-2P-KL Option Detail
The KL option locks the cover so only key-holders can reset the station. As a result, the pull lever still operates normally but reset is controlled.

For surface mounting indoors, use the RMS-BB back box. Alternatively, the RMS-DBB deep back box adds depth for thicker walls. In addition, the RMS-GR glass rod is the standard replacement rod for break-glass operation.
