The RSG SP-2-LP is the double-pole SP Series pull station configured with a lift-and-pull cover for dual-action operation. Specifically, the LP suffix adds a hinged cover over the pull lever. Furthermore, the SP-2 base uses a normally-open DPST toggle switch.
First, the user lifts the cover to expose the pull lever. Then, the standard pull motion trips the dual-pole toggle inside. As a result, the dual-action sequence reduces casual or accidental activations.

The LP (lift-and-pull cover) suits public corridors, schools, and busy assembly spaces. Furthermore, many AHJs accept the LP cover as the dual-action requirement. Therefore, confirm acceptance with your local jurisdiction during design review.
