The RTS2-AOS is a System Sensor strobe accessory built into a remote test and reset station. It works with up to two 4-wire conventional smoke detectors. As a result, one device handles testing, reset, and visual alarm signaling.
A key switch selects the detector to control. Then a push-button runs the test, the reset, or both. In addition, the station supports sensitivity readings with the optional SENS-RDR reader.
System Sensor Strobe Accessory Features
The “AOS” model adds a strobe and a sounder to the standard RTS2. Specifically, the sounder produces 85 dB at ten feet. Therefore, the unit delivers both audible and visual alarm indication.
The RTS2-AOS operates on 24 VDC. Also, it mounts to a single-gang or double-gang back box. This gives installers flexible placement at eye level.
