The Altronix SAV9D is a nine-output CCTV power supply. It distributes 12VDC to up to nine surveillance cameras from a single AC-input enclosure.
First, the unit accepts universal AC input. Then it converts the AC to filtered and regulated 12VDC. As a result, the cameras see clean, stable power that helps maintain video synchronization.
In addition, each of the nine outputs is Class 2 rated and PTC protected. Therefore, a short or overload on one camera trips only that output. The other eight stay running while you troubleshoot the affected line.

Application Notes — Not a Fire Alarm Power Supply
The SAV9D is a CCTV power supply. It is UL 2044 listed for commercial video equipment, not UL 864 for fire alarm. Therefore, it must not be installed inside a UL 864 fire alarm control unit or used as a notification-appliance power source. For fire alarm NAC power, choose a UL 864 listed supply such as the Altronix AL842ULADA, AL602ULADA, or FireSwitch108.
