Siemens DMC-1 MXLV Digital Message Card
The Siemens DMC-1 (part number 500-893000) is an optional expansion module for the Siemens MXLV voice evacuation system. Designed to meet the requirements of voice evacuation systems that require automated pre-recorded spoken messages, the DMC-1 delivers reliable digital audio storage and playback for emergency announcements.
The DMC-1 plugs into one of the four available expansion slots in the OMM-1 cardcage. The MXLV system supports a maximum of two DMC-1 modules per system. The module communicates with and is supervised by the MMB-1 or MMB-2 controller. In the event of a DMC-1 failure, the ACM-1 on-board tone generator automatically provides backup audio output, ensuring continuous notification capability.
