Siemens PAD-4-MB Notification Appliance Extender
The Siemens PAD-4-MB is an advanced notification appliance circuit (NAC) power extender designed for larger Siemens and Cerberus Pyrotronics fire alarm installations. Offering greater output capacity than the PAD-3 series, the PAD-4-MB is the solution when systems require expanded NAC current to support high-density appliance loads.
Like the PAD-3-MB, the PAD-4-MB includes a metal backbox ("MB" suffix), providing a complete, enclosure-ready unit for straightforward installation. The upgraded PAD-4 board inside delivers enhanced notification appliance power, making it well-suited for large commercial and industrial fire alarm deployments on Siemens platforms.
The PAD-4-MB is compatible with Siemens MXL, FireFinder, Sinteso, and Cerberus-platform control panels. As a genuine Siemens component, it maintains UL listing compliance for fire alarm notification systems requiring additional NAC circuit expansion.
