Siemens TRI-S Single Input Interface Module

The Siemens TRI-S is a supervised single input interface module for use on Siemens analog addressable fire alarm loops. The TRI-S monitors a single supervised dry contact input, reporting its status to the fire alarm panel as an addressable point.

Unlike the TRI-R (which adds a relay output) or the TRI-D (which monitors two inputs), the TRI-S is dedicated to single-input supervised monitoring only. This makes it the right choice when only input monitoring is required and no output control is needed at the same device location. Typical applications include monitoring waterflow switches, tamper switches, pull stations, or other dry-contact field devices on an addressable Siemens loop.

The TRI-S is compatible with Siemens MXL, FireFinder XLS, and Sinteso fire alarm control panels and mounts to standard Siemens interface module bases. Part number 500-891xxx. Life Safety Consultants offers Siemens interface modules and supports the full Siemens addressable product line.
