The Edwards SIGA-MCRR Control Reversing Relay Module is an addressable Signature Series UIO plug-in module. It powers and activates the audible sounder in SIGA-AB4 audible detector bases. Upon command from the Signature controller, the SIGA-MCRR relay energizes, reversing the polarity of its 24 VDC output.
Edwards SIGA-MCRR addressing and configuration
The SIGA-MCRR requires one device address, which the Signature controller assigns automatically. Also, a custom address can be assigned via the SIGA-PRO Service Tool. In addition, no addressing switches are used on the module itself. Factory personality code 8 configures the module as an output dry-contact relay.
Electrical specifications
Operating voltage: 15.2 to 19.95 VDC from the Signature loop. Standby current: 100 mA. Activated current: 100 mA. Furthermore, contact ratings (pilot duty) are: 2 A at 24 VDC, 0.5 A at 120 VAC. Relay type: Form C.
Mounting and motherboard
The SIGA-MCRR plugs into any available module space on a SIGA-UIO(R) series motherboard. Captive screws secure the module to the motherboard. Then all field wiring connections are made to terminals on the motherboard, not the module. Diagnostic LEDs provide visible indication: flashing green for normal status, flashing red for alarm/active.

Operating temperature: 32 to 120°F (0 to 49°C). Operating humidity: 0 to 93% RH. Storage temperature: -4 to 140°F (-20 to 60°C). Construction: high-impact engineering polymer. Shipping weight: 0.10 lb (0.05 kg). Disconnect power to the cabinet before installing or removing.
