The Silent Knight 005895XL is an intelligent power module for the IntelliKnight 5820XL system. Specifically, it adds power, circuits, and relays to the panel. As a result, larger systems gain capacity without overloading the main FACP.
What the Silent Knight 005895XL adds
The 5895XL provides 6 amps of additional power. In addition, it adds six Flexput I/O circuits. Furthermore, it includes two programmable Form C relays. Each relay is rated 2.5 A at 24 VDC.
The module’s outputs are rated 3.0 amps each. Therefore, the two outputs deliver 6.0 amps total. Installers can configure each Flexput as a notification circuit or as auxiliary power.
Protection and connection
The 5895XL is optically isolated. As a result, it provides ground-loop protection for the system. The module connects to the 5820XL over the SBUS. Then it places power closer to the appliances it serves.
