The Simplex 2098-9715 is a wire guard for Simplex photoelectric smoke detectors. It mounts over the detector head to prevent accidental impact or tampering.
First, the cage shields the sensor from carts, brooms, and sports balls. Then, the open wire design keeps smoke flow to the chamber unobstructed. As a result, detector performance is preserved while damage risk drops.
Where the Simplex 2098-9715 fits
