Simplex (4090-9008) Individual Addressable Dual Contact Relay Module 07431146

The Simplex 4090-9008 is a Dual Contact Relay Individual Addressable Module (IAM). It gives the fire alarm panel control of two Form C dry contacts using a single device address.

Typical uses include elevator capture, HVAC shutdown, pressurization fan control, and damper actuation. In addition, both contact states are reported back to the panel. Therefore, the panel can verify that each controlled function fired.

The 4090-9008 is a low-power latching design. As a result, IDNet or MAPNET II wiring supplies both data and module power. No separate 24 VDC feed is required. On initial power-up — or on loss of communications — both relays default to OFF.

• Mounts in a standard 4″ square electrical box (2 1/8″ minimum depth)
• Optional 4090-9813 adapter plate for 4 11/16″ boxes
• UL Listed; California State Fire Marshal listed (CSFM 7300-0026:0311)

Compatible Panels

For IDNet wiring, the 4090-9008 works with Simplex 4100ES, 4010ES, and 4100U panels. For MAPNET II, it works with 4100, 4100U, 4100ES, 4120, 4020, and 2120 CDT transponders. IDNet operation requires panel firmware 3.12.04 or higher.
