The Simplex 4098-9734 is a TrueAlarm analog high-temperature heat sensor for addressable IDNet fire alarm systems. The 4098-9734 provides two independent sensing modes: rate-of-rise temperature detection and fixed-temperature detection. Rate-of-rise sensing is selectable at the control panel for either 15°F (8.3°C) per minute or 20°F (11.1°C) per minute. Fixed-temperature sensing is independent of rate-of-rise sensing and is programmable at the control panel to operate at a 190°F (88°C) set point.
