The Simplex GSA4098-9793 IDNet Isolator Base combines TrueAlarm analog sensor operation with IDNet communications isolation in a single base unit. When the GSA4098-9793 detects a short circuit on its output loop segment, isolation activates automatically at the base to contain the fault and keep the rest of the IDNet SLC operational. For troubleshooting, isolation can also be enabled manually from the fire alarm control panel on a per-base basis. Up to 250 GSA4098-9793 bases can be installed on a single IDNet SLC loop (200 maximum on the 4008 panel). A base-mounted LED indicates sensor status at all times.
