The Siemens SSD-C-REM is a field-mounted remote LCD display with control. It mirrors the local system status of a Siemens fire alarm panel at a remote location.
First, the display indicates Alarm, Supervisory, Trouble, and Security events via six dedicated LEDs and a local sounder. In addition, a 4-line LCD shows event details in plain-text alphanumeric form. Furthermore, the unit can store up to 1,500 event messages, with pushbuttons to scroll through them.
On initial power-up, the SSD-C-REM runs in display-only mode. However, optional remote system-control capabilities are available. Therefore, sites can choose annunciation-only operation or full remote control as needed.

Where the SSD-C-REM Fits
Use this module at a security desk, lobby, or remote command location that needs full event visibility. As a result, responders see the panel’s event status without standing in front of the main control unit. However, verify the host panel and PMI/FCM version before ordering, since the SSD-C-REM ties into a specific interface.
