STI (STI-6400WIR) Wireless exit stopper multifunction door alarm

The STI STI-6400WIR is a wireless Exit Stopper® multifunction door alarm. It mounts on or near a door to deter unauthorized exits and entries.

First, the device sounds a 105 dB horn when the door opens. In addition, a 95 dB low-volume setting is selectable for quieter spaces. Furthermore, an annunciator-only mode is available if you do not want an alarm tone.

The unit communicates over supervised 433 MHz wireless. Therefore, it pairs with an STI 4-channel receiver (STI-34104) or 8-channel receiver (STI-34108). The line-of-sight range reaches up to 1,000 feet.

Where the STI-6400WIR Fits

Use this device on emergency exits, side doors, and stockroom doors where unauthorized passage is a concern. However, this is a security/door alarm, not a fire-alarm initiating device. Therefore, it does not connect to a fire alarm panel. As a result, deploy it on its own STI wireless network with the matching receiver.
