The STI STI-7600 Mega Stopper is a key-locked polycarbonate cover. First, it protects larger devices from vandalism and accidental damage. Specifically, it is sized for oversized pull stations, manual call points, and control switches that do not fit inside a standard Stopper II. Also, the cover and hinge are formed from super-tough polycarbonate. As a result, it stands up to repeated handling in commercial and institutional traffic.
STI STI-7600 design and dimensions
First, the cover measures 13 in. H x 6 in. W x 1.5 in. D. In addition, the polycarbonate is rated for use from -40°F to 250°F. Therefore, it suits indoor or outdoor installation. Furthermore, the integrated key lock deters tampering. Also, two keys ship with each unit.
Installation
First, drill the mounting holes per the included template. Then, anchor the back frame to the wall. Next, hinge the cover into place over the protected device. Finally, secure the lock. As a result, the host device remains fully accessible to authorized personnel.
