STI STI-1286 Backplate for 9711/9714 Series (SpectrAlert Strobes)

The STI STI-1286 is a steel backplate for the STI-9711 and STI-9714 Horn/Strobe/Speaker Damage Stopper guards. It provides the wall-side mounting surface for those wire guards. Therefore, it completes a 9711/9714 guard installation over standard electrical boxes.

How the STI STI-1286 is used

STI’s 9711 and 9714 guards are heavy steel wire cages. They protect wall-mounted strobes and horn/strobes, including System Sensor SpectrAlert series appliances, from impact and vandalism. However, the guard needs a proper backplate at the wall. As a result, STI supplies the STI-1286 specifically for the 9711/9714 series.
