The STI WRP2-R-01 is an IP67-rated waterproof reset call point in red. First, the unit replaces a traditional break-glass manual station. Then, the user pushes a resettable element instead of breaking glass. As a result, false activations are far less costly to recover from.
STI WRP2-R-01 environment and rating
First, the IP67 enclosure resists dust and temporary water immersion. Therefore, the unit is suited to oil rigs, ships, and factories. In addition, it is used in wash-down areas where broken glass is unacceptable. Specifically, food-processing plants and leisure centres are typical sites.
Operation and reset
First, the resettable element mimics the feel of breaking glass. Then, on activation, an indicator drops into view for visual confirmation. Furthermore, the unit is reset with a key for immediate re-use. As a result, the station is back in service in seconds, without replacement parts.
Installation and compatibility
First, the WRP2-R-01 is a surface-mount call point. In addition, it provides 20 mm conduit entry points for installation. Also, it is compatible with most conventional fire alarm systems. Note that this Series 01 variant is NOT EN54-11 listed; if EN54-11 listing is required, use the EN54-11 listed variant.
