The Wheelock STW strobe is a wall-mounted visual notification appliance. It produces a fixed 8 candela output from a xenon flash tube. As a result, it delivers clear visual alerting during fire and emergency events.
This model has a white housing with a clear lens. It runs on 12 or 24 VDC over a two-wire circuit. For an LED-based equivalent, Wheelock offers the ELSTW model.
