The System Sensor SS-PHOTO-T is an intelligent photoelectric smoke detector with a built-in thermal sensor. Specifically, dual electronic thermistors add fixed-temperature heat detection at 135°F (57°C). As a result, one head covers both smoke and heat events at a single address.
This detector communicates over the SK, LiteSpeed, and SS addressable protocols. Therefore, it suits Silent Knight and Fire-Lite addressable fire alarm systems. Rotary address switches make field addressing fast. In addition, the analog point reports sensitivity data back to the panel.

Listings and Mounting
The SS-PHOTO-T is certified to UL 268 7th Edition. Also, it carries CSFM listing 7272-1653:0529. Mounting bases are sold separately. For example, the B501 base or B300-6 base both fit. Sounder bases such as the B200S are also compatible.
However, note that Honeywell has marked the SS Series as discontinued. Therefore, this detector is a strong replacement choice for maintaining existing Silent Knight and Fire-Lite systems.
