The VESDA VSP-033 is a laser chamber assembly spare for the Xtralis VESDA VLI aspirating smoke detector. It is the replacement detection chamber for the VLI-880 and VLI-885 platforms.
Specifically, the VLI is built for industrial spaces and harsh environments up to 2,000 m² (21,520 sq ft). Then, as the detection chamber accumulates contaminants over time, performance drifts. Therefore, swapping in a new VSP-033 chamber assembly restores factory-new sensitivity. In addition, the VSP-033 is the OEM Xtralis part — no field calibration of the chamber is required.

Important Availability Note
VESDA VLI smoke detectors were last manufactured for the UL market on June 30, 2024. As a result, VLI spares like the VSP-033 are increasingly limited. However, for systems still in service, OEM chamber replacement remains the recommended path. Alternatively, contact us for migration advice if you are evaluating a successor detector.
