The Gamewell FSL-E3 is a single-mode fiber loop module for E3 Series fire alarm networks. Specifically, it carries one fiber channel per module. In addition, you can run up to two channels per RPT-E3-UTP or INI-VG. As a result, the panel communicates over single-mode fiber pathways.
Gamewell FSL-E3 function
This module places E3 network signaling onto single-mode fiber. Then it extends communication across longer cable runs. Furthermore, fiber resists electrical interference. Therefore, signal integrity stays high on noisy sites.
Where it fits
Use the FSL-E3 where copper distance or interference is a concern. For example, campus and high-rise links benefit from fiber. However, it installs only in E3 Series systems. Finally, confirm channel counts against your network plan.
