First, the filter screens dust from the sampled air. Then clean air reaches the ICAM detection chamber. As a result, the detector stays accurate over time.

The Vesda ISP-001 fits ICAM IAS, ILS, and IFT-P detectors. Furthermore, Xtralis recommends changing it about every six months. In dusty conditions, replace it more often.
