Siemens (PFT-P) Portable fighter’s telephone push to talk

The Siemens PFT-P is a portable firefighters’ telephone with a push-to-talk button. Specifically, it belongs to the Siemens PFT Series of portable handsets for fire alarm voice communication systems. As a result, responders gain a dedicated, hard-wired voice link during an emergency.

Each PFT Series phone ends in a plug-in jack. That jack connects to a Siemens FJ-303(SS) or FJ-304(SS) firefighter telephone jack plate. Then, firefighters plug in at jack locations throughout the building to talk with the fire command center. However, the PFT-P differs from the standard PFT model in one way: it adds the push-to-talk button.

Compatibility

Siemens compatibility is specific here, so check your system first. The PFT Series works only with the FireFinder XLS / Desigo Fire Safety Modular / Cerberus PRO Modular system. Therefore, it is not listed for use with other panel families. In addition, the standard PFT model (without push-to-talk) is available if your design requires it.
