The Gamewell SL-2000-P is a photoelectric duct smoke detector for HVAC air-handling systems. Specifically, it samples duct airflow for smoke. In addition, it triggers alarm and trouble outputs when smoke appears. As a result, it helps stop smoke from spreading through ductwork.
Gamewell SL-2000-P sensing and ratings
This detector uses photoelectric sensing with Low-Flow technology. Therefore, it operates in air velocities from 100 to 4000 ft/min. Furthermore, it lists to UL 268A for duct smoke detection. The housing accepts 24 VAC, 24 VDC, 115 VAC, or 230 VAC power.
Where it fits
This conventional duct detector provides dry-contact outputs. Also, you can interconnect up to 30 units for common functions. However, mount it per the sampling-tube duct-width chart. Finally, confirm voltage and tube length before installation.
