The Notifier BB-100 battery enclosure is a large lockable cabinet for the NFS-3030 and NFS2-3030 fire alarm control panels. It houses backup batteries when standard battery space inside the panel is not enough.
First, the BB-100 holds up to four 55 AH batteries. Alternatively, it accepts two 100 AH batteries. In addition, it allows mounting of the Notifier AMPS-24 auxiliary power supply inside the same cabinet. As a result, large systems can consolidate batteries and aux power in one enclosure.
The cabinet ships fully assembled with a hinged, lockable door. Mount it at least 6 inches below the fire alarm control panel. Fully loaded, the cabinet can exceed 175 lbs. Therefore, plan wall structure and mounting hardware accordingly.

Typical Use
Use the BB-100 when standby load requires more amp-hours than the panel’s onboard battery space allows. For example, very large addressable systems or long secondary power durations often exceed onboard limits.
