The Secutron MRI-4046 is an intelligent addressable supervised output module. It serves three distinct applications from one stocked part number. As a result, distributors and contractors carry fewer SKUs without losing flexibility.
First, the MRI-4046 drives supervised notification appliance circuits (NACs). In addition, it powers 25 V / 70 V speaker circuits for voice evacuation. Furthermore, the same module supports fire-phone circuits. Therefore, no jumpers or hardware setting are required — the panel selects the mode at start-up.
How the Secutron MRI-4046 Operates
Specifically, the module supports Class A or Class B wiring. As a result, no external EOL resistor is required for Class A operation. Furthermore, Group Activation lets the FACU fire multiple outputs together for fast notification response.
The module mounts in a standard 4-inch square or double-gang back box. Also, an indicating LED reports module status. Addressing is set through the MIX-4090 hand-held programmer.
