The Fire-Lite 17003 is a replacement key set for Fire-Lite manual pull stations and panels. Specifically, the kit contains two OEM keys used to reset BG-12 series pull stations and to open Fire-Lite cabinets.
First, after a station is activated, the technician inserts a 17003 key. Then the key is turned counterclockwise to unlatch the door. As a result, the handle can be returned to NORMAL and the station closed back up.

Where the 17003 Key Set Is Used
Typically, the 17003 keys are kept by the building’s fire alarm service tech. For example, every reset of a BG-12LX pull station after a drill requires one of these keys. Therefore, every Fire-Lite jobsite usually has at least one set on hand.
In addition, the keys are commonly used to open MS-2 and MS-4 panel cabinets for inspection and programming. As a result, the 17003 is also a routine spare in a Fire-Lite service kit.
