The THERMOTECH 302-EPM-194 is a rate-anticipation heat detector for hazardous locations. Also, it carries a 194°F (90°C) temperature rating. In addition, it uses an explosion-proof mounting.
This detector activates when ambient air reaches its set point. As a result, it eliminates the thermal time lag of conventional heat detectors. Furthermore, it holds activation within two to three degrees of the set point. Therefore, it responds consistently regardless of how fast the temperature rises.
