The Genesis 32211109 is a 16 AWG, 2-conductor stranded shielded plenum cable from Southwire’s Genesis® line. It carries CMP, CL3P, and FPLP plenum listings. Installation Notes
First, 16 AWG handles more current than 18 AWG on supervised low-voltage circuits. Then, the foil shield suppresses EMI on long signal runs. However, the drain wire must be grounded at only one end. As a result, installers avoid ground loops. Furthermore, the CMP/CL3P/FPLP plenum rating allows installation per NEC 300.22(C).
