The Simplex 4010-9910 module is a city circuit module for the 4010ES. It connects the panel to a municipal alarm circuit. As a result, alarms transmit to the fire department’s master box.
About the Simplex 4010-9910 Module
First, the module ties the 4010ES to a city (municipal) connection. Then a panel alarm trips the municipal master box. Therefore the responding fire department receives the signal directly.
Note one limit. The 4010-9910 and the 4010-9911 alarm relay module are mutually exclusive. Therefore a panel uses one or the other, not both.
