The Simplex 4100-6304 provides Simplex 4120 duplex fiber media in a multi-mode, right-port configuration. Specifically, it links 4120 network nodes over multi-mode fiber-optic cable. As a result, fire alarm panels share data reliably across the network.
Simplex 4120 Duplex Fiber Media Card Details
This card uses multi-mode graded-index fiber. It supports 50-micron or 62.5-micron core cable with 125-micron cladding. Therefore, it fits common multi-mode fiber plants.
The 4100-6304 serves the right port of a network link. In every fiber connection, a left port pairs with a right port. As a result, you connect it to a matching left-port card at the next node.
Compatibility
Each network interface card or bridge module supports one left port and one right port. The card works with NICs such as the 4100-6078. First, confirm your NIC and fiber type before ordering.
