This card uses multi-mode graded-index fiber. It supports 50-micron or 62.5-micron core cable with 125-micron cladding. Therefore, it fits standard multi-mode fiber plants.
The 4190-9853 serves the left port of a network link. In a fiber connection, a left port pairs with a right port. As a result, you connect it to a matching right-port card, such as the 4100-6304.
