The Genesis 43075504 is an 18 AWG, 4-conductor solid power-limited fire alarm riser cable from Southwire’s Genesis® line. It carries FPLR, CL3R, and CMR listings. As a result, installers can run it on fire alarm circuits, Class 3 circuits, and communication risers. The cable ships in a 500-foot REELEX pull box with a red PVC jacket.

The construction uses bare copper solid conductors with polypropylene insulation. In addition, the outer PVC jacket is sunlight-resistant for limited exposed pulls. Furthermore, the cable is rated for 300 volts maximum. Also, a rip cord eases jacket stripping during termination.

Installation Notes for Genesis 43075504
First, the FPLR rating allows installation in vertical risers per NEC Article 760. Then, the four conductors support pull stations, monitor modules, and other 4-wire interfaces. However, this cable is NOT plenum-rated. Therefore, do not install it in air-handling spaces per NEC 300.22(C). For plenum runs, use the FPLP-rated equivalent.
