The Simplex 4905-9929 isolator is a TrueAlert addressable Isolator+ module. First, it isolates short-circuited wiring from working wiring. As a result, a single fault affects fewer appliances on the circuit.
How the Simplex 4905-9929 isolator protects a circuit
The module installs in the branch and “T” tap wiring of an IDNAC channel. It uses a dual-port design. Then it accepts power and data from either port. When a short occurs, it automatically isolates one port from the other.
Specifications
The relay contacts are rated 3 A at 30 VDC. Also, the module draws 15 mA maximum at 24 VDC. It mounts in a standard 4-inch (102 mm) square box, 54 mm deep. Furthermore, an onboard yellow LED shows module status.
