The Notifier AKS-1B is an annunciator key switch kit for ACS Series annunciators. Specifically, it adds keyed access control to ACM-24AT and ACM-16AT control switches. As a result, only authorized personnel can operate the panel functions.
What the Notifier AKS-1B includes
The kit ships with one key plus the hardware required for mounting. In addition, it includes an adhesive-backed annunciator label. The label applies to the keyswitch and dress plate assembly.
Where it mounts
The AKS-1B installs on the trim plate of a flush-mount annunciator enclosure. Alternatively, it mounts in the surface-mount ABS-1TB backbox. The ABS-1TB has the increased depth required for this key switch.
However, the AKS-1B will NOT install in the ABS-1B or ABS-2B surface-mount backboxes. Therefore, choose ABS-1TB when keyed access is needed for surface installs.
