The Notifier AMPS-24E is an addressable power supply and battery charger. Specifically, it provides 24 VDC power for NFS-3030 and NFS2-3030 fire alarm control panels. In addition, the AMPS-24E runs on 220-240 VAC input for international and 220 V installations.
What the Notifier AMPS-24E does
The AMPS-24E delivers up to three 24 VDC outputs. Furthermore, it operates in either FlashScan or CLIP mode on the host panel’s SLC loop. As a result, integrators can match the AMPS-24E to existing addressable point counts and protocols.
Also, the AMPS-24E charges 7 AH to 200 AH sealed lead-acid batteries. The charge current is selectable to match the battery bank. Therefore, the supply scales from small to large standby configurations.
Supervision and reporting
The AMPS-24E reports trouble back to the FACP through the isolated SLC interface. Specifically, it monitors AC presence, brownout, battery condition, and the charger itself. In addition, the trouble bus input accepts normally open dry contacts or open-collector signals.
Mounting
The AMPS-24E mounts in several Notifier enclosures. First, it fits CAB-4 Series and EQ Cabinet Series enclosures. Then, it also installs in BB-25, BB-100, or BB-200 battery backboxes.
