Siemens (CCL) Can cable-3 ft long req for scm/lcm/fcm module

The Siemens CCL CAN cable connects rows of control modules in Siemens FireFinder XLS and Cerberus PRO Modular panels. Specifically, Part Number 599-634214 is a 3-foot (0.91 m) CAN bus cable. Siemens lists it as required for connecting Model SCM-8, LCM-8, and FCM-6 modules between inner-door rows.

These modules mount on the inner-door mounting plate (Model ID-MP). Each module ships with a six-conductor cable for interconnection within a row. However, when modules span more than one row, the CCL cable links the rows together.

Siemens CCL CAN Cable — Compatible Modules

First, the SCM-8 is a switch-control module with eight programmable push-button switches. Then, the LCM-8 is an LED-control module that provides programmable LED annunciation of system activity. Finally, the FCM-6 is a fan-control module for manual control of HVAC fans and dampers. Any combination of these modules can share an ID-MP mounting plate. As a result, multi-row layouts are common, and the CCL keeps them on one CAN bus.

Remote Mounting

Siemens also supports remote mounting of SCM-8, LCM-8, and FCM-6 modules. Specifically, they can be located up to 1,000 feet from the main enclosure in REMBOX2 or REMBOX4 lobby enclosures. In addition, the optional CAN sounder board (Model CSB) adds audible feedback for remote applications.
