The Edwards 2-SPRC1 is a replacement optical smoke chamber for Signature Series detectors. It restores a detector to clean operating condition.
This chamber fits second-generation Signature Series photoelectric (non-CO) smoke sensors. Over time, dust and debris collect inside the optical chamber. As a result, the detector can lose sensitivity and report trouble. Replacing the chamber returns it to factory performance.

Technicians use the 2-SPRC1 during routine maintenance and refurbishment. Specifically, they swap the worn chamber for this genuine Edwards part. Therefore the host detector can stay in service instead of being scrapped.
